Hi everybody:

.......As Wolfgang observes below, last night's PBS program told the
story of the corruption of the U.S. political process by $$$$$$.  That's
the theme guru has been presenting on these pages for years -- and it is
the story of the corruption of U.S. "science" as well....

What will happen as a result of last night's program?  Not much, unless
millions of Americans MAKE it happen.....  The broadcast needs to be
repeated MANY times!!  And, it should be made available to the public for
presentation at local meetings.....  It wouldn't hurt anything if PBS were
to loan it to other (non-PBS) stations for showing.....  It needs to be
made available to ALL Americans during the election year ahead.....

Remember, it is the same congressional and senate members (mostly
Republicans) who only a year or so ago were trying to put PBS off the air
... and now these same legislators are the ones who are blocking reform of
the political system by blocking change in the "campaign contributions"
law....  That's the McCain-Feingold bill -- now bottled up in both
houses....

Hi Roy 
I hope you caught the program on PBS
Free Speech for sale
it summed up all and everything on the big money politics in the USA 
and the media specificly TV 
the only question left is now 
when already the US senate/congress bowed to the corporation power
 what can anyone else ( aka normal citizens) do
we have conveniently been squeezed out 
or can't measure up money wise.... 
the program did/ could not answer this
BUT it should be in the archive of any "activist'  
- at least in the US
