Hi everybody:
Today, June 1, 1999, we enter a new era on EMF-L.
After much effort, perseverance and patience, Robert Bedard, the
webmaster of the WAVE-GUIDE web site, has completed the job of
creating a program to provide EMF-L with an archive system.....
His notification of this is below....
I consider this step as a singular achievement by and for ALL OF US....
While it has been my privilege and (and burden) to have originated
and moderated the EMF-L list ... for going on four years now, I have
always known that EMF-L doesn't really belong to me ... it belongs to all
of you. All of you who have been concerned about the effects of an
"exploding" Blue World of electromagnetic radiation upon human health.
All of you who have contributed your knowledge, your experiences and your
wisdom to the EMF-L list ... where that information can be promulgated,
questioned, corrected, argued, and assimilated by others.... Mostly
by "the people" -- the people who are not now "at the table" of decision
on any of the EMF/EMR matters that are taking place in the board-rooms,
bureaucracies and legislative halls of government across the world.....
The history of EMF-L activity since June 1, 1997 is now collected within
our archives. The messages there are YOUR messages as well as mine.
They tell -- not THE story -- but an IMPORTANT PART of the story of
the human populations growing worldwide exposure to perhaps the most
insidious (certainly the most pervasive) of all environmental menaces
now known to mankind....
What we have written there, you and I, has not been all-wise. It has
not been entirely correct -- though, I warrant, we have all striven NOT to
consciously promulgate misinformation.
What we have attempted to do is to look beneath a monstrous shroud of
deliberate secrecy, misinformation, obfuscation, malfeasamce, inertia and
indifference ... that has been erected around the EMF/EMR subject by
powerful vested interests who -- so far -- have succeeded in keeping the
public uninformed and misinformed about the health effects of EMF/EMR
bioeffects.....
Hell, folks, we must face the facts!! The public isn't even "at the
table" where these matters affecting our lives, health and pocket books
are being considered and decided....
Stop and think about it -- it is "the people" who pay the taxes, provide
the "profits" and serve as the "lab rats" for this vast worldwide
experiment in human exploitation..... We have every right to DEMAND "a
place at the table" -- which, by now, I trust ... we are all aware is not
being allowed.....
Robert's valiant efforts and services in providing and maintaining this
new tool -- our archives -- should greatly assist our efforts to SHINE
THE LIGHT upon Mother Nature's EMF/EMR secrets ... as well as upon those
who seek to thwart our efforts to understand.... I urge all of you to
give this new tool a try!!! Look for some of YOUR past messages.....
(Errors and omissions will be found. Report those to Robert, but be
patient with him -- he hasn't had a lot of sleep this past weekend......)

I am pleased to announce the EMF-L Archives can officially open June 1
as planned.
The Archive contains messages from June 1997 through May 1999, and
provides two methods to access them. There are monthly index pages
listing the messages sorted alphabetically by Subject, or you can use
the search tool to do a lexical search of the entire message base.
