Roy,
I too welcome you back home. As you know we have much to do, considering the
push for wireless LAN's in schools (a uniformly bad idea, in my opinion). I
am eager to hear your comments on the Munich BEMS meeting, as I didn't get to
that one.
Thanks you for your kind remarks about my paper in Salzburg. One small
correction: I considered the mixing of microwave fields with an AM broadcast
field - frequency of 800 Khz, but not as low as ELF. The same arguments could
be applied to ELF and microwaves, but the electric field strength of ELF would
probably be much smaller than what I considered. Incidentally, Dr. Kundi said
that he will have my work examined by his friends in the Univ. of Vienna
Physics Dept. in a kind of peer review. I was also told by Dr. Livio Giuliani
and (I think) also by Dr. Carl Blackman that both demodulation of RF radiation
and nonlinear mixing of fields of different frequency can be done within
biological cells. This certainly reinforces the notions expressed on this
list that the EMF RAPID studies can be brought to bear on the problem of
biological effects of audio frequency modulated or pulsed RF radiation.
I would also like to mention that Cindy Sage and Neil Cherry gave outstanding
presentations in Salzburg, and I am sure you will be saying more about these.
We all look forward to hearing your comments on both meetings. Incidentally,
the Salzburg Resolution is now online at www.land-sbg.gv.at/celltower. I hope
everyone will read it. it's a good strong stand, in my opinion.
