Subject: Anecdotal info/International Shortwave-reply Date: Tue, 17 Mar 1998 100037 -0600 (CST) From: "Roy L. Beavers" <rbeavers@llion.org> To: emfguru@hotmail.com -------------------------------------------------- Hi everybody: The world of science dismisses "anecdotal" information because it is not "scientific." O.K., I have no big problem with that!!! But note -- because it is anecdotal ... does NOT mean it is not true!!! It may be the truth ... simply "sitting there" and waiting for science to pursue it.... Certainly, because it is anecdotal ... that does not mean that the issue raised should not be pursued ... in a scientific way!!! Those of us who have been seeking the truth about EMF for a number of years have encountered (many times!!!) examples of anecdotal information which probably OUGHT to be pursued, but which are not ... because it is so easy for the "scientists" to dismiss it..... (Which, incidentally, raises a legitimate question as to how "scientific" are the scientists?????) Such a case, in my view, is being discussed below ... in the "tail-end" of a discussion in which I have not forwarded all the intervening messages...... But this one explains itself..... Note: There is admittedly more "to think about" suggested in the message below than the role of science in pursuit of anecdotal situations.... But thinking about the other issues that are raised suggests to me the question: What kind of a society is America today ... in the sixth year of the Bill Clinton Administration???? Obviously, it is not a society where the "unwealthy" have much representation or impact on how things are done ... against them...... Cheerio..... Dear Bertha, Thank you So much for making the visit to the FCC. There are a couple of things I wish to reply too in your note. One thing I also need to comment on is that fighting this thing is very tiring for me. I was poisoned by pesticides back in 1990 and have been very ill since then. RIght now I have glands the size of half a tennis ball on my neck so I don't think living within 750 of the transmitter is a very good thing for me. On that study you saw which was done by Lysiak our home had one of the higher readings of 2V/ from the one antenna and 1/v from the other (I believe it was an "E" Rhombic and "H" Rhombic) I am tired of being tired all the time. You might ask me "why not move" it is pretty difficult whenm my husband doesn't feel these low numbers are hurting anyone. I have been reading about low levels and it is simliar to chronic low level pesticide exposures..Low levels= high stakes! I will reply to some of the things you mentioned in your note to me. keep on reading. Perhaps it's the one in McCaysville, GA near the Tennessee border? Yes this is the same station. Rebecca (is her name) is one my of meighbors who recently became involved wiith this issue) 2 middle aged men died..one from an acute leukemia which the doctors at EMroy said was caused by either an acute radiation exposure or chemical exposure. He didn't have a chemical exposure. The first neighbor died exactly one year and one month from when the station began running. He was diagnnosed with the acute leukemia on a Wed. and 4 days later on Saturday he died. That is how fast it was. The second man also died from a very fast cancer which affected his whole body from bones to organs. The tumors grew so fast the doctors couldn't keep up with thier findings therefore they could treat him fast enough. The child has severe siezure disorder from 14-20 very strong siezuires a day. There is a name for the type associated with EMFs but the name has left me right now. They moved and the siezures gone. THey have a Dr from Loma Linda who has indeed said that the child's siezures were caused by the EMFs. We have another neighbor whoo got very sick while being here who lives close to the station alsoe. The medical field is still trying to find out what happened to her. All they know is that her thyroid was destryoed on a weekend she was up here. It was the weekend before the national elcetions. We all thought the water was poisoned or something. I have sever nerve pain in my trigeminal nerve and now since that station is running over power again my sleep is being disturbed. I am very concerned because I already have auto-immune disease. the 2 men that died from cancer also had the same type of autoimmune disease which is diabetes. We have interference from that station that is showing upp in homes 6 miles away (those we are able to reach. Possibly it is interfering with others that we haven't reached yet,. In reagrds to this new type of transmission..What it seems to come down to is that the FCC wants to see what or how this new type antenna works at OPUR OWN HEALTH RISK! isn;t that the same as experimenting on us??? BTW< there is SOME religious broadcasting..the other broadcasting is hate, anti-semitizm, anti-government and militia braodcasting. He is already licsned to run another transmitter and the YAGIO antenna is alreay there but not working as of yet we are told. Even though the FCC was investigating they still contionues to grant him priviledges. SOmething wrong there. I see where you spoke with Mr Breigs. Interesting that he said that the station is STILL being investigated??? SInce when because we recieved a letter from Mr ENgelman saying that WGTG was in FULL complicance and that NO further investigation was going to be done UNLESS we found new "evidence" that would re-open the "case". ANd interesting that Breigs had the file because I just emailed him a few days ago and he emailed me back telling me he was NO LONGER in that division and that my only contact would be Mr. TOm Polzin.. I believe the FCC is covering something up..WHY wouldn't they WGTG file be in the computer and WHY would Breigs say there was still an investigation when we were given a letter saying just the opposite? Something si very wrong here! >As those who tried know, getting hold of anyone at FCC via phone is nigh to >impossible. I don't try; just go there. I did last week. He fetched the file from his office and gave me 5 >minutes of his time, but invited me back to discuss the matter further. The >file was out of the research room because "the case is being investigated >for interference complaints and the site is still under construction." THe site is already constructed..he is just adding another transmiiter. The building where all the equpipment is in is his OWN HOUSE which also houses his wife and **2** children ages approx 11 and 8 yrs old! Once that 2 transmiiter gets running (which will be very soon I am told and he is advertising for people to rent time on it) and the YAGI starts up again what ARE we going to be exposed too?????????????? We just found out that the hospital which is close by is having problems with electronic equippment failing for no apprant reason and that Tri County power company which is also vert close by is having interfernec problems. But we have recieved letters from the FCC and from Frantz stating that the interference is OUR problem and that we have cheap equipment. Frantz has not offered us help at all so that part of the lawyers letyter is a lie. It is true I would not let him on our property or in my home because he was on my deck one night threatening the lives of the president of the US and also the FBI agent which was involved with RUBY RIDGE. ALso..this station owner has follwed and hgarrassed us and shot towads us and called me a demon cause I got my hair cut short. So the FBI, GBI and Secret Service and lcoal sheriff told us to nerv let this manon our property or in our house..yet mr Breig could not understand why when we told him..THe filters just clip into the phone just like the phone line does. That is a no brainer.. When we first moved here my hubby asked him about giving us some filters and we were told no..Other than the Hawkins (and that is another story) heWGTG has offered NO OTHER PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY help with filters..the interference problem is sooo big that he couldn't possibly fix it all anyway. I have his certifieid letters here where he tells us it is NOT his problem. His license expires in the year 2002 HIs wife name is on everything. He has told us that he had to flee Florida..I think he has his wifes name on everything for a reason. The station is serving the area..Poeple are getting the station whether they want it or not. and we read the FCC rule book and interntational shortwvae falls under the same rules and guidelines as AM radion..and if he has nothing to hide then why will he not give us the infotmation..ewhy are his apttorneys locaytted so far from this area where it is impossible to get to?? > Attorney says that WGTG is not licensed to serve >McCaysville, Georgia and therefore owners are not required to maintain an >inspection file or make documents available to the general public. >(Convenient?) Note: FAA is >ever but always concerned only about height of a tower; never >radiofrequency, though it is starting to whimper about RF. Let me explain how Lysiak got away with doing that study. That RF study was to be done with the Atlanta FCC branch being on site. It was to take place on a Friday and Sat..On THrusday Frantz called Breig and cancleled out saying the man from Minnesota couldn't come here..guess what?? He came all on hs own and the FCC was NOT here because Frantz called and cancelled..We never saw anyone that weekend around our properties so I have NO IDEA how they took their readings. Our home was the one that read the 2/v Ms. Sayles readings were 00 (zero) the other homes that had the highest were Hawkins and Fox (the lady who got sick up here) Let me ask you this question... If you were here in my place where there are readings (we do not know if they are correct- p[ossibly the readings could be higher) WHAT would you do? I really appreciate you taking your time to go and read that file and interpreting it for us. Isn't is rather odd that there was no record of that file in thier computer? Also isn;t it odd thaat they say there is still an invesitgation when we are told there isn;t one? alot of very strange things. Now the big question..how do we get the license revoked or an injunction against it? Is that even a remote possibility???? >How can Garrett Lysiak get away with such a study? Perhaps the 3rd line of >his affidavit, notarized by Diane, explains: ?Garrett was formerly employed >by the Federal Communications Commission as an engineer; he is an expert in >communications engineering.? Probably that?s why his report says nothing. >Engineers are folks of extremely few words. >Since the system in McCaysville is custom-made, I somehow feel that someone >party or corporation has a vested interest in this site.
