Marge: Sorry, not so. Industry has convinced government that to avoid the
opposition of towers construction the way they will go is from cell/PCS
phone directly to satellite. That means the phone power and frequency, as
Steve Bullock indicates, MUST be higher. Industry has already slated phones
to operate at upwards of 29 GHz. This means that some poor soul will hold a
cell/PCS phone in hand, dial a number, and a surge of energy lifts the RF
signal to a satellite that switches the signal to a remote corner of Earth.
The interaction of satellite to phone transceiver is constant untill the
call is complete, if emissions don't finish the caller first.

Phone to satellite communications is one of the reason so many satellites
are being strung around Earth's meridians. . You know about global
positioning systems (GPS)? Same technology. GPS was used during the Gulf
War. Soldiers had gadgets pinned on their person. The gadget continuously
sent out signals, which the GPS satellite received and returned message to
soldier's gadget as to their respective location. During the war, I was in
constant communication with congress re the hazards of EMR which all
soldiers were exposed to. I indicated that if a satellite could monitor a
soldiers' location via a soldiers' GPS gadget; so could the enemy. After
all the Soviets had the same technology.

Bullock probably threw this dopey thing out as a "please let us install
this now now, we'll never have to ask you again in the future" but ....
Do you think the unsuspecting will know they have a time-bomb at their
head? Noone tells them anything else. Health and safety agencies should
be doing their utmost to protect the public, instead they've become deaf,
sumb, blind. They are violating the Radiation Act of 1968 that says the
"whole population cannot be overexposed to any form of radiation.
