Dear Roy,

I am re-sending the message I e-mailed to Deb Carney and Cc'ed to you. I
was hoping that you would post it. As suggested in my note, I am willing
to act as a gathering center for graphic, startling ideas that might help
our cause, thus relieving you of having to sort through scads more e-mail
than you now handle. I encourage any and all on your list to e-mail me
personally, with some unique ideas that might be used in presentations by
people opposing the continuing spread of the "blue world disease."

I have slightly changed my message, below, to include all EMF-Listers, not
just Deb Carney. Many thanks. John.

Dear Deb,

Thanks for your note. When I was a Wireless/Radar Mechanic in the RCAF
during World War II, radar was considered a very essential tool for the
Allies. We were not aware of any inherent dangers in working with it; we
were there to "get the job done." At that time, we used to check out
airborne radars on workbenches, and we would often have them in operative
mode. The STUPID, macho trick with the light bulb would be to put the
screw-in end in one's mouth and walk by (within a few feet) of an operating
unit. The bulb would come on most anywhere inside the repair building. I
am not sure how far from a unit one would have to be before the bulb would
not light up. However, we do know that the radiation density falls off as
the inverse square of the distance from the radiating element.

With today's radars, the best way to measure the radiation would be with a
good meter. Perhaps Bill Curry could help you with this. In fact, I am
most impressed (more like astonished) with the figures Bill sent to us on
EMF-L when he measured his wife's cell phone.

Your idea of having children dressed up like mice with signs saying, "We do
not want to be lab rats!" is excellent. Perhaps someone could come up with
hats that look like guinea pigs. None of us want to be human guinea pigs
nor lab rats, especially against our will. So, to enhance our plea, we
should have on hand some pictorial evidence to show what happens to
laboratory animals when they are subjected to various radiations -- the
more graphic, the better.

NOTE TO ALL ON EMFguru's LIST: I believe we are limited only by our
imaginations (or lack thereof) when it comes to publicizing the dangers of
EMR and EMFs. What about computer animation, for example. A creative
animator could feature Bill Curry's experiment in measuring his wife's cell
phone, by showing "clouds of colored vapor" coming out of the various
sections of the cell phone, as described by Bill. The intensity could be
represented by different shades of color. As EMR and EMFs are invisible,
we need to represent them in graphic ways that shake people up. It should
be possible to represent RF and MW radiation as colored lights, or sounds
of various pitches and intensities, and/or, of course, as illustrated
graphs, charts, maps, etc.

We must bring what is invisible, tasteless, odorless, TO LIFE. We must
graphically illustrate the EFFECTS of EMR and EMFs. We cannot show CAUSE,
as "cause" is a creation of the human mind; we can only relate what
event(s) precede an observed effect. Those events that precede "effects"
are those events that are most meaningful to us. Causes do not exist in
reality; causes exist only in our imaginations -- by definition. WE HAVE
TO CRANK UP OUR DEFINITIONS.

Let ALL OF US who are members of EMF-L start our own "think tank" in order
to develop concepts as to how we can more graphically illustrate the
dangers of EMR and EMFs. EMFguru does not need any more e-mails coming in
to him, so I volunteer to receive and collect your ideas; e-mail me
directly, and I will eventually send the collection to Roy.

Sincerely,

John

P S -- I have already heard back again from Deb Carney with a couple of
neat ideas: T-shirts with a logo on the front showing a tower that is
radiating and a crossed circle through it. On the back of the T-shirts is
their web page address and THREAT spelled out --Tower Hazards and Radiation
Exposure Above Tolerance. Deb says he is forwarding my message to their
graphics committee.

Let's think BIG ! ! !
