Evelyn,

I can identify with what you are saying about your computer monitor.
This was one of the contributing factors to me becoming sensitive. But
there were other factors in my case. These included prolonged exposure
(8 years in background fields of between 25 and 35 mG.

Having said this, there was no doubt that the computer monitor was
(and is) a culprit. In my case, I obtained shielding for the MPRII
monitor that I have at work. This includes a Jitter box which encloses
the monitor on five sides (to cut down on the magnetic fields) and a
NoRad UltraGlass screen (which cuts down ELF and VLF electric fields)
for the front. Together with ensuring that the background field is as
low as I can get it, (measured with the computer switched off) and the
flourescant light above me disconnected, I can manage. I have worked
for a computer company for the last 18 years, today being my last as I
am moving on.

You may have tried all of these methods already, but in case you are
looking, I obtained this equipment from Sperka International. If you
want more info, please let me know. I have the specs for the
UltraGlass if you want.

I wish you all the best.

Alastair
