Hi everyody:

........Here is a request for a brochure on the cell-tower issue ...
also to provide the basis for a half-page ad....

........Perhaps this message calls for action by the EMR Network???
Blake Levitt is the one who could probably (best) prepare such a
brochure.... The EMR Alliance also had some already prepared a couple
years ago.... Probably some of those are still available, though they
might need some updating....

Somebody (who regards this as "his/her" ricebowl) please get back to
Eric on this.... He is a new reader and does not yet know about all
the people or help that is available here.... (MICROSHIELD, for one
example, has some good stuff on this, I believe....)

Cheerio....

Roy and others,

Our situation is very similar to Elena's although in our case the
towers (there are four of them that have been placed about 15 feet
from our property line) are already up and they were placed there
without any prior notification or discussion with members of our
community. We've already had one meeting with the township, communication
companies, and Industry Canada and are scheduled to have a second. Like
Elena, we're also wondering about how to energize community resources and
educate our neighbors about the problem, and also what kinds of specific
objective are reasonable in light of this already existing tower city.

You mention a a paid half-
page ad in a local newspaper. Are you aware of a one or two page information
sheet that summarizes the main points about cell towers and EMF in
layperson's terms that can be used as the basis for educating others
and energizing community support? My first dip into the EMF pool has
provided an enormous amount of useful information, but extracting the
most salient information and the strongest points is a challenge, as
is identifying achievable objectives.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
