Alas we've not seen any thing yet. The electronic industry is pushing Wireless Connectivty in BIG ways. They see it as the next BIG way of sucking up more of our money now the the era of the PC as a cash cow is gone. There is industry consortium called Bluetooth (no idea why) that is pushing a standard for 2.4GHz. They currently have a range of 10 meters as a target. All of the Big Names are participating in the design of this standard. They are hopping for many products by the end of this year, right now its still in the design stage, but prototypes are starting to be delivered now to get the bugs worked out. If you use a wireless network for your computer or printer in your home or office you might already be unwittily exposing your self to 2.4GHz radiation. Some wireless video transmitters also already operate here. The official site of Bluetooth is http://www.bluetooth.com . All of these technologies use Spread Spectrum to spread the power density out across the 2.4GHz band and to minimize interferance. If any one wants to learn the fundamentals of of Spread Spectrum a good book to start with is available from http://www.arrl.org . -- For information on any of the following check out my WEB site at: http://www.biogate.com/bpaddock/ Chemical Free Air Conditioning/No CFC's, Chronic Pain Relief, Echofone, Electromedicine, Electronics, Explore!, Free Energy, Full Disclosure, KeelyNet, Matric Limited, Neurophone, Oil City PA, Philadelphia Experiment. http://www.uCOS-II.com Archive provided courtesy of WaveGuide, http://www.wave-guide.org Reprinted with permission of Roy Beavers, http://www.emfguru.com
