.......Don has forwarded (below) a short note inviting our attention
to  a recent (March issue) article in the Atlantic Monthly: "The Kept
University" by Jennifer Washburn....

While I am forwarding this message without having yet read it - I
eagerly anticipate that I will read it ... and, more than that ... 
it is likely that I will refer to it in the future.....  The subject 
(corruptive influence of too many corporate $$$$$$) is certainly 
one of the serious flaws that has developed in our once-upon-a-time 
"free" society/government, which I now call an **oligarchy**......

Again, we are talking about the pervasive corruption of the influence
of too many $$$$$$$ in our political/educational institutions ... and 
what that means to the erosion of our personal freedom and liberty......
**Conflict of interest** in our political and educational (science)
institutions has become endemic.....

Just as -- I trust all of my readers are now aware -- the failure to
get the facts about EMF health hazards to the American people ... is
also directly attributable to the same cause.....

Cheerio.....  (Thanks, Don......  This looks like a good article for our
scientists to read, too.....  Though, I am NOT suggesting that any of
them will disagree with it.....)
