........Linda, thanks for sending me (EMF-L) a copy of the following....

Many readers will know that Linda's letter to the Federal Government
(answered by a middle-level bureaucrat) provides the basis for the
"U.S. Government position on EMF" which is on the website.....

Take another look at it as you read of the "retribution" that Georgia
Power is now exacting upon Linda....(below).....!!!

Typical......!!!

(Within the GA Power offices, they may laugh with glee at this.....
They figure that for guru to "spread the word" will scare other property
owners......!!  I don't think it is working that way anymore......?!!?

There is a **revolution** brewing.............  A revolution that is
pointing its finger at the callous indifference of the big corporations
who turn their $$$power$$$ into a despoiling of our democratic political
system and a **rape** of the public's health, safety and
environment......  All for profits......)

Subject: Property Devaluation

Hello,
    I am on Roy Beaver's list and in Jan., 1999, you had sent a list of
articles you had found on property devaluation.  We are presently trying
to determine how much our property will be devalued once the transmission
lines are put in so I am searching through the list you compiled.  I
thank you for taking the time to compose that list.  

Today I am ordering 5 articles from the Univ. of Connecticut dealing with
devaluation.  They are only $5 each to receive the studies so that will be
money well spent.  You had said in your Jan., '99 message that if we
found anything interesting to share it with you. If you are interested in
the exact address to order these, I will be glad to give it to you.  The
order form was printed on line so it was easy.  If you have run across any
other articles concerning this subject, I would love to know how to get
them.  
    
The powerlines are to be run alongside a river here in Georgia, just
north of Atlanta.  Roy has printed several of my letters from time to
time.  It looks like we won't be able to stop the project despite our
court appearances and since we have been so diligent in our fight to try
to stop them, they have chosen an absolutely terrible and destructive
route on our property.  It is an emotional and financial devastation.  Oh
well, if I can gather all the information available (or most of it),
maybe we can help ourselves in the end and show these folks that they
cannot continue to run ramshod over property owners.
