In the case reported below, the "local officials" are as guilty
as the power company..... That is not unusual.....
Stevenson must get himself an attorney who is willing to defend
Constitutional rights (Property devaluation without due process,
as well as risk to life and health) against the local officialdom
that is probably already "owned" by the power company......
He should also take the information that has been recently posted
on guru's website (Milham research and Henshaw research) to the
local newspapers and implore them to do a series of stories (an
expose) about the electricity/health issue.......
Finally, he needs somehow to reach the "other" citizens in the
community (the soccer moms), whose property is NOT being endangered,
and make them understand that, "there but for the grace of God go
I." Next time it may be their homes that are "attacked"
surreptitiously and without warning......

Dear Sir
My name is Carl Stevenson. I live in Mountain Home, Idaho. A small =
town of maybe 9000 people. Our local power company has bought 40 acres =
of land about 1/2 mile from my home. 1200 feet from the closest house. =
The local residents were presented with this bombshell about 1 week ago. =
The land was bought, ground broken and the project begun before we even =
knew what was happening. We are trying to get organized, but at the =
last town meeting the local folks were bowled over by the Idaho Power =
experts. Our zoning committee thanked us all for our willingness to =
come testify at the hearing, then voted exactly opposite what we all =
said we didn't want! Could you tell me where I can find stuff on line =
that I can print out so we can be ready for the next town meeting this =
Tuesday where they intend to answer environmental concerns? We just want =
the plant moved further down the road and the power lines to run around =
our homes, not down the street where folks live! Any suggestions as to =
studies I can quote, facts or figures would be greatly appreciated!
