As a matter of fact, it's kind of sad that we -you must not think so!-
almost take all your work for granted.
NOT SO!
I remember some time ago, all of a sudden for no apparent reason known to
me, there were no messages arriving from Roy for days and days, and I
checked every day finding myself empty! That's, when someone wonders about
Roy and misses him badly, that's a moment to become aware to take things
not for granted and once and a while to say THANK YOU!
Roy: THANK YOU!" from me,and I am sure I say this for others as well.
Please keep on going with emf-guru, a fine site, which helped more people
than even Roy can think of!

Someone might want to help Susan below, I have never come across a case
like that.
I suggest:
1. find out, how many channels are operating on this tower
2 find out, what the guaranteed wattage is with each channel (add the
wattage, then you have the real output of this tower)
3 find out which frequencies are used
4. get a guaranteed statement, that wattage, number of channels,
frequencies will not be changed, if so, only with a public hearing
5 insist that -on the company's cost- you may hire a technician of your
choice any time at least twice a year (without notification to the
company) and check for the out put and frequencies
If the company has any objection to above points, then you know, they are
hiding something and don't like to take any responsibilties at a later
date!

Hans, thank you so much for the information you have sent me and putting
me on the emf guru site. It is very informative and eye opening. A
group of us in our neighborhood have been meeting as a result of the
Telus tower incident. We have been told that the city will not sign a
lease in this area because of public concerns so Telus has to come up
with another option.
Now we have a new public notice that a communications tower is being
proposed. It is to be placed next to a school board office which is
between two schools. The purpose of this tower we are told is to
improve communications between the schools - and apparently all schools
will be "gifted" with one of these. This tower is said to be aprox. 30
metres high, freestanding, with no guy wires and no lighting. It says,
in the public notice, that the tower's transmission is not broadcast in
all directions like a cellular phone tower but is a focused receiver.
The bulletin says that the power output is very low ( ie max. 4 watts)
and The communication company Telebyte Inc. advises there is little if
any RF transmission detectable in the vicinity of the tower.
Hans, what do you know, is there a concern here?
Also I did not recieve the fax you were going to send from Dr. Holt, I
look forward to receiving any information you can send me and feel that
would be of interest and use to me. I am certainly grateful for your
enthusiastic energy in helping spread the word about our responsiblity
