Carlo's apparent change of viewpoint), I have just heard that Westminster University in London is now offering a BSc(Hons) undergraduate course in..... "Mobile Communications" .. sponsored by Orange and Nokia. Evidently there are lots of well paid technical jobs designing new handsets and 3rd generation mobile comms systems going begging for non existant candidates. So this course teaches electronic engineering combined with handset design etc and even contains a module on "possible health effects" of mobile communications systems. Students that qualify are promised a fast-track to higher things career. The course apparently first started last September (1998).
