The report of the Royal Society of Canada Expert
Panel, convened at the request of Health Canada, will be released at a
public meeting in Vancouver on Monday, May 17. This report announces the
Expert Panel's assessment of the adequacy of Health Canada's Safety Code
6 with regard to potential health risks associated with RF field exposure
from wireless telecommunication devices (cell phones and base station
transmitter sites).
