The manual for the Nokia 5110 states the following on page 53:

"Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that a minimum seperation of 20cm (6
inches) be maintained between a hand-held wireless phone and a pacemaker.
These recommendations are consistent with the independant research by and
recommendations of the Wireless Technology Research.

Persons with pacemaker:
*	Should always keep the phone more than 20cm (6 inches) from their
pacemaker when the phone is switched on;
*	Should not carry the phone in a breast pocket
*	Should use the ear opposite the pacemaker to minimize the potential
for interference
*	If you have any reason to suspect that interference is taking place,
switch off your phone immediately"

How do you switch off a cell phone mast if you suspect that it is causing
interference? Or will they do it AFTER you die?

And then this cute one from the manual, page 7:

"Use Sensibly
Use only in normal position (to ear). Don't touch the antenna
unnecessarily."

Really? Why?

Regards

Jeremy Nel

Hi Roy,

We are greatful for all the info you are sending to us. God bless you for
your efforts.
We also are concerned about pacemakers because our neighbour is equiped with
one.
Since sprint is requesting putting up a monopole 100 feet high below our
properties we also are wondering if it would affect his pacemaker. Any info
you have will be greatly appreciated. You're our teacher!

Sincerely,
Rudolf and Tjaakje Van Komen (Dutch)
