In general, one does find electrical hypersensitivity in persons with ongoing chemical hypersensitivities. The symptoms are characteristic of a fault in the autonomic nervous system and can be triggered electrically or chemically and neutralized chemically or electrically. The plastic bag would reduce the vapours (phenols for example) from the electronics components in the phone and all would be well unless the person is sensitive to the plastic or plasticiser. In this case, picking up the phone in its plastic wrapping would trigger reactions. Sensitive people often put their TV in a box which is ventillated to the exterior. Chronic exposure (without chemical sensitivity) to a particular frequency will entrain that frequency in the body and this represents the equivalent of a chemical entrainment. Acupuncture point GV 14 is a particularly sensitive indicator for frequency entrainment, notably by mobile phones.
