The flood of information seems to have opened peoples' eyes here. A
ballot of members at the end of last week showed about 9 in favour of
the antenna (none of these were prepared to see it in the original site
next to a public building!) and 30 were against allowing the Secretariat
from signing the contract with Motorola. It would seem they must look
for another site and I hope we will be able to repeat the same result
should they try again in a neighbouring town or village.

If we can make something of this issue in the press here this may be a
more effective method.
