	Dear Roy Beavers

	Thank you very much for your answer.  I appreciate very
	much you all the information you can send me. Also I will
	check the address you recommended in your mail.

	I hope one day we will have laws that protect us against
	the electromagnetic fields, because in Mexico, specifically
	in Monterrey we do not have any law that protect us, so
 	the owners of industries, the Federal Electricity Commission
        and the Government do what they want and the
	neighbors can not do anything.

	We have a social movement, we are 40 people aprox. we were
	in a pacific"Planton" 21 days the 24 hours of each day,
        with posters rejecting the electrical installation (high voltage)
	so near our homes. I 	do not know the word in English, but 	
        Plantón means to stay in the same place 24 hours avoiding that
	the workers from electrical companies start their jobs,
	I mean, the works for installing the towers or posts
	in Spanish they call them "tronco conicos de 115KV".

	But remember that our pacific protest was not only by the 
	transmission lines, we were protesting also for the
	electrical plant and substation near our houses.

	The Economical Power won and we lost. Even worse the
	responsible of the Health Secretary of the Government
	published a letter saying that the electromagnetic fields
	are not dangerous, can you imagine, so they do what they
	want.

	We have the support of a woman of the Congress (Diputada)
	She is helping us, and she is very interested in this
	problem. She is the President of the Human Rights in the
	Congress, and she wants to help us.

	The political party that is in the power is the PAN and
	they are industry people (the majority of them are owners
	of industries) so we can not have their assistance, their
	support.

	Well Roy, I will appreciate all what you can help us.

	* I am writing a book about this, because I think it is
	  very important for the next generations, we want to help
	  them.  Also we are worry about this problem, because
	  the powerful people are damaging to the poorest people
	  and it is not fair.  
	  Also because, it seems, there is a social or economical
	  project behind this, perhaps they want to desappear the
	  communities near industries. and again it is not fair.
          Remember Monterey is an industrial city, there are many
	  industries, but we have the right to live in peace
	  and healthy.
