Thank you very much for your interest in our work. Please let me answer
your questions on behalf of the organizing comittee of the workshop and the
Vienna EMF-resolution.

went to the web site and saw that you are looking for endorsements. Can you
clarify a few things for me.>>

Is the >public also invited to participate?
-A WM: The endorsement may come from anyone. If you download the form from the
website you will find space where we ask the signing person to specify whether
he/she belongs to the scientific community, public administration etc.
>Q PDP: 2. Are you publicizing the request for endorsements in any other
area on the internet or publications like "Microwave News"?
-A WM: Microwave News allready received the necessary information for
publication. It should appear in one of the next issues. If you could think
of any other useful web-site where to publish the "Vienna EMF-resolution"
please let us know.
>Q PDP: 3. Does this resolution also include EMR from CRT type VDT's????
-A WM: No, this was not intended, the meeting was very much focussed on
mobile phone issues. However, I can see the relevance for other electronic
devices like VDT's.
>Q PDP: 4. Will you accept endorsements in email form?
-A WM: Our current policy is to collect real signatures, so it should be a
fax.
However, realizing that a fax is not a common thing to have in some
countries, we will accept emails aswell.
>Q PDP: 5. What is the plan for these endorsements? Are you working towards
some type of international statement from concerned scientists?
-A WM: Yes, this definitely is one of the directions, where towards our
initiative might develop.
>Q PDP: Permit me to state that we were pleasantly surprised to hear of this
groups' statement and we agree with its statement.
-A WM: Thank you for your appreciative comment.
>PDP: Looking forward to hearing from you.
-WM: Let me apologize for the late response, having had the meeting a few
days ago things are very busy at the moment.
