Subject: Invitation to speak in Ireland

Roy and all,

Somewhat urgent. I have at late notice been asked to address the Northern
Ireland Assembly at Stormont Castle, Belfast on Thursday 3 November on the
issue of Mobile Phone Base station hazards. I gather this may be an historic
occasion, to take place in their famous long room, and that some press media
may even be invited to attend (unusual) but will certainly be outside the
building for commentary afterwards. I have to have prepared a written report
by Wednesday night

Any helpful information would be appreciated, especially on the situation in
Switzerland where I understand the base station exposure limits are likely to
be lowered from 40V/m to 4 V/m. I lack details on frequencies and other data
for this turn of events, reported by Jan Aberg.

By the way, on a lighter note, my erstwhile pal Louis Slesin is of the opinion
that I am not ever being taken seriously in scientific circles: any
refutations of this view by scientists who regard themselves as being taken
seriously would also be welcomed!
