......The "fight" goes on in Bermuda.....  Mark, perhaps the
emphasis should NOT be on "what is known" ... as the other side
will always seek.....  The emphasis should be on "do we (the 
public) want to be experimented on???"  That seems to be the stance
of industry and government -- ignore the warning "alarm bells" that
research is turning up.....  **Experiment** on the public.....

Mark needs a response, too, from some of our meter people....

Dear Roy,
An update from Bermuda. We are still fighting
the towers in Bermuda. The one in question
which affected our neighbourhood is up and
running now. Our cause has gained respectability
however due largely to valid information from your
network. Particularly useful are reports of cases
where towers have been blocked or under serious
scrutiny by local authorities such as Sutro and Lookout.
When such cases can be quoted it makes "our" local
authorites uncomfortable - when in the past they
have been comfortable in the belief that no-one
in the civilized world is taking the potential health
hazards seriously. 
Of particular value to us was the statement which 
you sent out from the UK
legal firm on the liability of land owners and the spelling
out in plain language,which a jury would understand ,
the unstable ground on which claims of harmlessness
of EMF are founded and the ludicrousy of the principle*
that pollutants shall and must, yea even by law, be considered
safe until proven beyond doubt to be unsafe (the tried
and tested " body count method").

The priciple being that Governments can't have "the
people" interfering in the the running of their neighbourhoods. 
What next?

My request is for information on EMF measuring devices
which cover the range 0.01 to 1 microwatt/sq.cm. I know 
this information has been requested before and I did
not pay close enough attention, but can such a device 
be purchased or rented?
