Hi Roy - Ms. Randy Altschul excitedly exclaimed (on the CBS Early Show
this morning): "I'm going after the kids and the moms!!" She was talking
about her invention of the 'Toss-A-Phone', a disposable, fold-up phone that
can be carried in a pocket. She is looking for investors and mentioned three
months to market and is looking toward Christmas 2000 sales at McDonalds - -
"they'll make great stocking stuffers", she adds. There is a proposed
retail price of $20 but "could go as low as $12.00-$13.00 if sell 10-15
million." The battery-operated phone will have 60 minutes of air time and
will last approximately one year. Prototype did not appear to have an
antenna....... I will leave the comments to you and the scientists -
Take care - Joanne Mueller
