DO YOU KNOW OF OTHERS WHO SHOULD BE ON THIS LIST? ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Tue, 9 Nov 1999 09:33:13 EST From: JCMPelican@aol.com To: "Roy L. Beavers" Subject: Cell phones - Disposable Hi Roy - Ms. Randy Altschul excitedly exclaimed (on the CBS Early Show this morning): "I'm going after the kids and the moms!!" She was talking about her invention of the 'Toss-A-Phone', a disposable, fold-up phone that can be carried in a pocket. She is looking for investors and mentioned three months to market and is looking toward Christmas 2000 sales at McDonalds - - "they'll make great stocking stuffers", she adds. There is a proposed retail price of $20 but "could go as low as $12.00-$13.00 if sell 10-15 million." The battery-operated phone will have 60 minutes of air time and will last approximately one year. Prototype did not appear to have an antenna....... I will leave the comments to you and the scientists - Take care - Joanne Mueller Archive provided courtesy of WaveGuide, http://www.wave-guide.org Reprinted with permission of Roy Beavers, http://www.emfguru.com
