Subject: Advice needed, re Broadband Wireless ISP (Stone). Here's my question: I do web design and need high-speed Internet access, but there are no cable lines available in my area. The only option I have is a broadband receiver/transmitter and to stay in line of sight, it will need to be installed on our roof above our bedroom. How much and what kind of radiation do these emit and what is the "safe" distance? As I understand you have a special modem, and then a dish is installed outside similar do a satellite dish. Also wondered if the modem would be a consideration (I don't know if it's internal or external). Thanks for your help!
