Dear Colleagues:

Dr. Michael Repacholi will soon give up the day-to-day management
of the World Health Organization's International EMF Project. The WHO is
seeking a new manager to run the EMF project together with its program on
ionizing radiation in Geneva, Switzerland.
A vacancy notice (No.HQ/00/SDE/94-E) has been issued and is
available on the WHO's Web site:
.
Applications are due by December 1.
Repacholi will continue to supervise the project as the head of the
WHO's Office of Occupational and Environmental Health. In an interview with
Microwave News, he explained why he is stepping back from the EMF project
and discussed his views on the current state of EMF and RF/MW health
research. Details will appear in our November/December issue, which will be
published in early December.
You can learn more about the EMF Project at:
.

For those who want to do more than digest turkey on Thanksgiving
night, ABC News will air a new report on cell phone radiation risks to
children on November 23 as part of its "Prime Time Thursday" program. This
is a follow-up to last year's 20/20 show.

Best,

Louis Slesin
