Well folks, I just caught the ABC Prime Time show....... I believe
that ABC is getting
better with each of these shows they do..... Drs. Blakemore (U.K.)
and Carlo (U.S.)
both gave even handed accurate testimony in my opinion -- leaving little
doubt
that the risks of cell phone use (particularly by youngsters)
are greater than the
industry is saying.......
The industry spokesman -- Moulder -- predictably lived up to his usual
Zombie-like
past performances......
(What is a Zombie, someone asked me awhile back? I guess
I assumed that all of
us grew up with the zombie movies of the 40s and 50s..... Not
so.... A zombie is a
soul-less creature with no heart and no brain, walking the earth submissively
and
obediently doing his master's bidding without questioning it in any
way..... Does it
fit????)
I thought George Carlo offered the most important statement in the program,
though,
when he pointed out that the U.S. government was doing absolutely nothing
about this
matter in spite of the fact that our government is fully aware of the
situation, including
the Stewart Report in the U.K........ I was glad to hear that
point made so strongly......
