Hi, Roy --

I appreciate Ingrid's report of the change of atmosphere in that hospital
setting. I would add:

When my mom was in hospital for the last time, she spent some time on the
third floor, some time on the ground-floor level. We found a distinct
different in "heaviness" between the two floors, and finally decided it
had to do with one floor's receiving outside air, the other floor's being
relatively more closed off.

We decided it was a difference in negative versus positive ions, and
arranged to bring in an ozone air-purifying machine that also had a
negative ion feature to it, and left it in a corner of her room, set to
deliver negative ions but no ozone.

Mom's ailments were too significant (including a stroke while in the
hospital) for me to be able to report that this was helpful to her, but I
report that it was subjectively helpful to us -- there was less
"heaviness" when we visited her room, this way.

I would wonder whether suffering could be alleviated and lives could be
saved by this finding -- and similar ones with regard to fluorescent
lighting, EMFs generally, etc. (A hospital is quite a terrible place to
be sick, really; it's time the medical-powers-that-be woke up to this.)

We ask that each pay according to the value of what s/he receives,
based on what s/he feels s/he truly can afford. In this way we
need never turn anyone away, and folks who can pay more may
know they have helped their neighbors who can pay just a little.
