Roy,

Today we went to the Nextel Engineering Office on Hartwell Ave. to
deliver the 300 signatures to the letter we addressed to them. We were
told in advance that no one would be there to receive it and that we
should mail it or send it to their attorney. We went anyway, just to
drop it off and to picket there (we have been picketing in front of
Follen Church for two weeks now). There were two policemen in the
parking lot especially to tell us to leave the property. If we tried to
deliver the letter, they said they would have to arrest us. We picketed
out on Hartwell Ave., and because of this special reception, we are
planning to put them on our picketing agenda! They have a very tall
antenna popping out of their property that radiates all the surrounding
offices in this office park style area, so our presence could be
educational as well as make people aware of our issue. Needless to say,
they would not let us park there, so many people parked in a large lot
next door. They must have called their friends next door at Logica,
because their security asked our police detail to ask us to move our
cars (to cause us to stop picketing most likely). Some members moved
their cars, and we stayed for a full hour. There were 25 of us, all
female this time and with babies & strollers.

The press who came were: The Lexington Minuteman (comes out tomorrow,
Thurs.) and Channel 7 (WHDH -NBC affiliate). Watch for us on the news
tonight!

We weren't chanting, but someone came up with : Power to the People, no
antenna in the Steeple!
