Dear Victor,
I haven't heard about it, but here in Norway we have some plants
manufacturing aluminium (- and other metals) using strong direct current
electromagnetic fields. I know that the doctor responsible for one of
the plants was dis-placed in a manner which even got to the newspapers.
What he found was that the workers who were close to the fields during
most of their working days had an increase of health problems, and he
also found much more mercury in them - those having amalgam-fillings
(here most people have, or have had, lots of those). He has recently
published an article on this.
