Please allow me the opportunity to tell you about my experience with EMF. I live in a suburb of Queensland, Australia, my husband and I bought this home where we presently live 10 years ago from an electrician who had built the home himself. In our first 3 years I began to experience peculiar burning sensations; over my body and my brain felt like it was going to explode. I would need rush outside to get fresh cool air; until it subsided. Many thoughts went through my mind as to the cause of these experiences which some days were no less then 20 a day; ie. hormonal, menapausal, stress from my job etc. anxiety attacks. I began to have problems processing thought without having one of these experiences. I had trouble sleeping and felt I was being electrically zapped ( to coin a phrase) and my mind would not be quiet. Even whilst sleeping I would experience this burning sensation over my body and into my head which would awaken me. When ever I went into an electrical appliance store or a computor retail store I would experience the same sensation and I have become sensitive to certain smells especially chemicals perfums,plastics etc. After many visits to my medical practitioner and even a Psychiatrist who considered my case a challenge but could still not tell me the cause nor the appropriate treatment for my problem. I decided to search for the cause myself. I purchased an EMF meter and found that the electrical switches on the wall above our heads where we sleep were emitting 185 milli gauss even when they were off. Our heads were resting within inches of this field every night for eight years. Having now discovered so much information regarding EMF I now understand what has happened to our health. I'm not going crazy afterall ! It may also explain why my attacks were not present when we had short stays away from our home. And it may explain why my husband has become forgetful. Needless to say we a finally moving location to the bush where there is less contact with electricity. I have recently purchase 3 Tachyionized Silica Disks through a USA company which claim to deflect the EMF by attaching them to the electrical mains switches. Perhaps they may work but in the meantime we have switched off all power to our bedroom which helps me at least sleep a little better,(I can dream now).
