Am I surprized? No. Am I upset, YES! Jan and Biil - let's send them again and send them every week until they publish one of them. In the meantime Roy, would you please send my letter out to your group, and maybe it will inspire others to let TIME and other publications know that they need to listen to us. Thanks. Virginia Hines Concord Citizens for Responsible Tower Siting Massachusetts Council on Wireless Technology Impacts EMR Network Josh Quittner's article about the nuisance of cell phone users didn't dig deeply enough to find the real "cell hell." One would find this inferno in the backyards of homeowners across the country. These citizens wake up each morning to face monolithic cell towers complete with multiple arrays of antennas; and put up with lights and constant buzzing noises which keep them awake at night. Ask some of these people how their health has been since cell towers were constructed near their homes. Is low level microwave radiation safe and is the public protected by the FCC safety standards? Does the FCC have a database containing the location of all transmitters to make sure that these facilities do not exceed cumulative RF limits? These are the some of the questions people face who are living in a much deeper "cell hell" every day. And just think, all of this so people can constantly talk on the phone instead of taking a moment to reflect on what they have already done.
