Roy,

My wife Gretchen (retired Medical Sociologist) is a co-organizer of a
graduate course on Child Health that will likely be given next year at a
university in Chicago. It would be a great help to her (and a great favor to
me) if anyone who knows about published research articles on EMF effects on
children's health, such as the reference cited here in the U. of Toronto News
Magazine, and would inform us by Email of the journal citation. We are
interested in all EMF effects - from power line ELF frequencies to hundreds of
Gigahertz. Also, we are especially interested in epidemiological studies, but
are not excluding laboratory studies that are especially pertinent to children
- for example, children seem to be more vulnerable to leukemia promoted by
EMF than do adults (my opinion). Thus, laboratory studies pertinent to
leukemia would be considered as well as epidemiological studies of
children's leukemia cases.

Further, we are interested in publications in any language - trusting
that we will be able to find a translator if necessary.

We already have the NIEHS report on health effects of power line frequency
fields, but we would appreciate being told about studies that we may not be
aware of. If you will send us the citations, she can get the material through
the university library and through Medline. Her current plans are to include
a section of the course on EMF hazards to children's health and safety. We
shall be most grateful for the assistance of the people on the EMF list in
this matter.

Bill and Gretchen Curry.....
