Kelly Flinn accepted Thursday to avoid a court martial does not carry the stamp of high approval that goes with an "honorable discharge," service officials said. Although Flinn will receive a "general discharge under honorable conditions," the definition suggests all did not go well with her in the service, an official said. He said the general discharge is given when normally faithful service is marred by negative aspects of a person's duty performance or personal conduct.
