Hi everybody:

Just want to let you in on the party!!  It has been one year since
EMF-L was born!!

In the beginning we were five in number -- all in Missouri, USA.

Today we are 136 in number -- in (at least) 20 countries.  Cannot always
be exact about the location of some of you because the internet addresses
can be deceptive.  (Yes, we know, sometimes that is deliberate.  That's
O.K.  We will not 'tell' on you.)

The countries we can be (almost) sure of follow:

Sweden -- 15
Canada -- 9 (perhaps more)
Denmark -- 8
UK/Ireland -- 3
Two in each of the following:
Hong Kong/Singapore
Korea
Spain
Italy
New Zealand
One in each of the following:
Peru
Chezkoslovakia
China (Communist)???
Netherlands
Turkey
Phillipines
Trinidad-Tobago
Taiwan
Barbados
Australia (We had four, but one of them informed guru that local
          "pressures" were "discrediting" some scientists in that
          country because of their "activities."  So ... the implication
          is that they must be careful who "they are seen associating
          with."  Evidently EMF-L is the wrong association.)

One country -- "pt" -- we don't know.

Anyway ... thanks to all of you for making it a most successful first
year!!  We have tried to "live up" to our original purpose -- to provide
an open "non-intimidating" place for the EMF issue to be discussed at
a "non-technical" level of conversation.

A special thanks to the folks at FEB (Clas Tegenfeldt) for making available
the web-page.  That has been a great success.  We know of many who have
not joined EMF-L, but who are regularly "checking out" the web-page.
