EMFs and breast cancer--

"Breast cancer and electromagnetic field exposure, each a growing health concern, now are being brought together in a first-of-a-kind study to explore their potential linkage. Researchers at the Pacific Northwest Laboratory and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle have teamed through a $3-million National Cancer Institute grant to investigate whether exposure to magnetic fields from power lines and appliances or exposure to nighttime light, such as night lights and outdoor streetlights, increases a woman's risk of breast cancer. Researchers are approximately halfway into the four-year effort, which will involve some 1,600 women with and without breast cancer."
